Photography
It is a passion of mine to bring food to life, and get people excited about eating it! Attention to detail is paramount, making sure that the main ingredient in the dish is highlighted beautifully, and that all supporting ingredients look stunning. Smart use of props like napkins and utensils are utilized with discretion to create a scrumptious photo. I’ve been photographing food since 2010, and have no intention of stopping any time soon.
My Studio
I work with a full gourmet and vegan kitchen behind me, as well as a studio that specializes in natural light. I have a respectable array of surfaces and “props” meaning plateware, silverware, glassware, serveware, and linens to enhance any dish or product.
Restaurant Photography
Every restaurant needs amazing photographs of their dishes, because people eat with their eyes! I can come to your restaurant, and using your plateware, glassware and general ambience, capture the essence of your brand, making your guests salivate with every listing on the menu! I don’t generally work with lights, but that’s ok. It is not un-heard of to setup a studio outside in a shaded area to capture your meals at their best!
Recipe Development
In addition to photography, I’ve been developing recipes for my website, The Devil Wears Parsley since 2010. I’ve worked with brands such as Cacique®, Nana Solutions, and Flatout Flatbread to creating and sharing delicious recipes in my own unique voice. My specific niche is edgy vegan! So, if you’d like to reach that crowd, I’m the person you need!
Influencer
In addition to creating recipes for brands to post on their own websites, some leverage my influence and following to promote their brand through my website and it’s social channels. You can find examples of that here.
